Position Summary
The Door Person plays a vital role in greeting and assisting residents, guests, and visitors at the entrance of residential or commercial premises. This role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, maintaining security protocols, and fostering a professional and inviting atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome residents, guests, and visitors courteously and professionally.
- Assist by opening doors and handling packages, luggage, or deliveries.
- Securely monitor entry and exit points to control building access.
- Keep records of visitors, deliveries, and service personnel.
- Coordinate with the concierge, security team, or management about residents' needs or unusual activities.
- Provide assistance with taxi or ride-share requests and offer directions.
- Address common inquiries and supply information regarding building services or amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and entrance areas.
- React promptly to emergencies or incidents and follow appropriate reporting protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification required.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or security sectors is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ability to stay attentive, polite, and composed under pressure.
- Physical capability to stand for prolonged durations and lift light objects when necessary.
