Domain Architect

Role Overview

Our client, a forefront technology consultancy, is seeking an accomplished Domain Architect to spearhead the strategic planning and effective execution of enterprise AI solutions within multifaceted organizational contexts. This senior position requires a blend of profound domain expertise and transformational leadership, particularly in regulated and high-accountability sectors such as finance, tax, risk, governance, and compliance. The successful candidate will ensure AI initiatives correspond with fundamental enterprise goals and deliver tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate in-depth discovery workshops to grasp enterprise priorities, regulatory limitations, and transformative goals.
• Design phased AI deployment plans anchored to measurable business and operational targets.
• Rank domain-specific AI use cases by impact potential, feasibility, and organizational readiness.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor value realization following deployment.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across finance, tax, risk, governance, compliance, and technology sectors.
• Ensure AI efforts align with enterprise control frameworks and governance.
• Support decision-making with clear analyses and domain insights.
• Manage interactions within complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise settings.
• Apply expert knowledge of finance, tax, risk, and governance domains.
• Comprehend internal control systems, compliance obligations, and operational risk structures.
• Advocate for deployments that enhance transparency, accountability, and control efficacy.
• Identify AI opportunities to improve monitoring, reporting, and decision-making workflows.
• Work closely with Deployment Engineers to assure execution aligns with strategic and domain requirements.
• Offer functional guidance during AI rollout and adoption stages.
• Share field intelligence with Product and Engineering teams to refine solutions.
• Contribute to cultivating scalable, repeatable domain-centric deployment frameworks.

Required Experience and Expertise

• Minimum five years working in regulated enterprise domains such as finance, tax, risk, governance, or compliance.
• Extensive background in consulting, enterprise transformation, or strategic implementation.
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks including TOGAF®, ArchiMate®, and SAFe.
• Technical knowledge encompassing cloud platforms, data flow architectures, security protocols, and micro-services.
• Domain architecture expertise, encompassing design, implementation, and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency integrating architecture with Agile and DevOps methodologies for iterative development.
• Understanding of governance and compliance ensuring regulatory adherence without limiting agility.
• Strong experience as an AI-native digital transformation specialist with technology consultancy background.
• Demonstrated capability engaging executive stakeholders within complex environments.
• Proven leadership in driving domain-focused transformation projects.
