Job Overview
We are seeking passionate individuals who love dogs and reside within 15 miles of West Hollywood to join our team as Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters. This is a full-time role offering the chance to earn up to $4000 or more per month, contingent on your availability and ability to board dogs in your home.
Hot Dog On a Run is a reputable dog walking and pet sitting organization operating throughout West Hollywood and neighboring areas including Hollywood, Hollywood Hills, Hancock Park, Los Feliz, Beverly Hills, Westwood, Studio City, and Sherman Oaks. We prioritize responsible and dependable dog lovers willing to commit to a 40-hour workweek.
Compensation and Work Details
During training, you will receive an hourly wage of $20 plus $0.70 per mile traveled from the start to the end of your shift, ensuring no unpaid breaks between walks. Post-training, pay increases will be considered based on your job performance and experience. Typical shifts involve working over 8 hours daily, complemented by dog boarding duties.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong affection and care for animals is essential.
- Authorization to work legally in the United States is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a fully insured personal vehicle, with willingness to transport dogs throughout the day. Mileage costs are reimbursed from the beginning to the end of your route.
- Physical fitness to walk dogs for multiple hours daily across various weather conditions and handle larger dog breeds.
- Availability during most holidays and commitment to consistent daily schedules, including at least one weekend day.
