Job description
Overview
We are actively recruiting Document Controllers to oversee programme-level document management duties, ensuring thorough traceability and comprehensive reporting throughout various project packages in the power and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive document registers and manage controlled record systems.
- Track the progress of document submissions, approvals, and updates systematically.
- Oversee and coordinate document workflows involving contractors and consultants.
- Ensure traceability and accurate version control of all documents.
- Support the maintenance of technical and quality documentation registers essential to projects.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue documents and pending approvals to maintain timelines.
- Assist with project completion processes including document closeout and archiving.
- Utilize electronic document management systems effectively to streamline processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in document control within large-scale engineering or construction environments is required.
- Familiarity with Aconex or similar Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) is essential.
- In-depth understanding of document numbering systems, revision controls, and workflow procedures.
- Excellent organizational capabilities complemented by strong communication skills.
