HVAC Engineer - Rail Infrastructure

Job Overview

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to contribute to a significant High-Speed Rail infrastructure initiative based in Al 'Ajban, Abu Dhabi. The position involves active engagement in reviewing and coordinating HVAC systems as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering effort.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate HVAC system designs, technical drawings, calculations, and project specifications.
• Oversee coordination of ventilation, air conditioning, and other mechanical services within buildings.
• Review and approve HVAC equipment submittals, shop drawings, and associated technical documents.
• Facilitate integration and coordination with structural, architectural, and electrical engineering teams.
• Provide support during installation inspections, testing phases, and commissioning processes.
• Ensure all HVAC work complies with approved design documents, industry standards, and specific project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Proven experience in HVAC engineering within large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or complex building projects.
• In-depth knowledge of ventilation methods, cooling systems, ductwork, and HVAC equipment.
• Experience working on railway depots, metros, high-speed rail projects, airports, or complex industrial settings is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and engineering review processes.
