Role Overview
We are looking for a diligent and organized Document Controller to oversee project documentation for ongoing projects. This fully remote position is open to candidates residing in Ireland or the UK. The role involves maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and compliant documentation in alignment with project needs.
Key Duties
- Manage the receipt, uploading, distribution, and archiving of all project-related documents.
- Maintain document control systems and registers for several active projects simultaneously.
- Use internal platforms such as Procore and external client systems like Asite and Aconex to handle documentation.
- Monitor drawings, technical submissions, and documents pending review or approval.
- Ensure documentation adheres to company and project-specific standards.
- Facilitate document exchange between internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Issue and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and their responses.
- Download and disseminate data from clients' external portals.
- Support quality assurance by maintaining accurate document records.
- Help prepare Operating & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and As-Built documentation.
- Assist project teams by ensuring timely distribution of site information.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in document control, preferably within construction or engineering fields.
- Familiarity with document management systems such as Procore, Aconex, or Asite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and external parties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Capability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Legal eligibility to work in Ireland or the UK.
