About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure complete understanding and adherence to document control protocols and procedures, providing training when necessary to uphold documentation standards.
- Identify and interpret contractual obligations related to document management.
- Drive continuous improvements to document control procedures and systems.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of the Information Management Plan, aligning with standards such as ISO 9001.
- Communicate documentation issues effectively to the Design Manager.
- Oversee and manage document storage systems including SharePoint, Autodesk BIM 360 Field, and BIM 360 Docs to guarantee efficient access and storage.
- Gather and register all technical documents, such as drawings and blueprints, within the designated Keltbray system.
- Review and update documents regularly to ensure maintenance and quality control standards are met.
- Inform team members about new document versions and the methods for accessing them.
- Support document issuance processes to maintain information in a controlled, accessible, and efficient manner.
- Assign document numbers per project requirements.
- Perform quality checks on incoming documents, including those submitted by designers, in line with document control procedures.
- Ensure documentation metadata is complete to support traceability, retrieval, and audit needs.
- Assist with the review and approval processes by compiling, distributing, and closing out comments.
- Support the implementation of supplementary procedures such as the TQ/RFI Database.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience functioning as a Document Controller within a comparable industry environment.
- Familiarity and experience with document control software platforms.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
