Role Overview

We are looking for a CSA QA/QC Engineer to join our team for a significant data centre project located in Dublin 15. This role is crucial for overseeing the quality, safety, and compliance standards of all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works. The selected individual will collaborate closely with the CSA Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Quality Team to develop and enforce quality control protocols, ensuring all construction operations align with project demands and client anticipations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and examine CSA works to confirm adherence to project specifications, drawings, applicable standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish, apply, and sustain project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures tailored for CSA activities.
• Evaluate and approve method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality documentation provided by subcontractors.
• Perform site inspections and audits to assess compliance, issuing non-conformance reports where necessary.
• Assist the CSA team with resolving quality-related issues by providing technical insight and ensuring corrective measures are effectively enacted.
• Coordinate with design teams, project engineers, and subcontractors to guarantee prompt resolution of quality concerns.
• Ensure materials and workmanship undergo proper inspection, testing, and documentation consistent with standards and specifications.
• Oversee meticulous record-keeping for inspections, tests, certifications, and other quality documentation.
• Support performance monitoring and contribute to periodic quality reporting by updating project quality records.
• Engage in project handover procedures, securing the completion of quality dossiers, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and all final QA/QC documentation.
• Foster a robust culture of quality, occupational health, safety, and compliance throughout all CSA works.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Holds a relevant engineering or construction degree, preferably in Civil, Structural, or Architectural disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience as a QA/QC Engineer on large construction initiatives, especially within data centre, industrial, or technology sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CSA construction practices, standards, and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in the development and implementation of QA/QC procedures and handling inspections and testing plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills facilitating effective collaboration with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Keen eye for detail combined with excellent organizational capabilities to generate precise documentation.
• Capable of working efficiently within dynamic, technically demanding, and deadline-oriented settings.
