Overview
The District Sales Head plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding market presence for both traditional cement products and specialized S&P offerings within their designated territory. This position requires comprehensive product knowledge, the ability to nurture strong customer connections, and strategic execution of sales plans to meet and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the accomplishment of sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies across all product lines.
- Support and facilitate sales at the sub-dealer and customer levels to boost product promotion.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline to advocate premium cement products and S&P offerings vigorously.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with sub-dealers, stakeholders, and end customers to foster business growth.
- Identify emerging business opportunities and market trends, adapting sales techniques accordingly.
- Educate and train sub-dealers and customers on product benefits and unique features.
- Assist in launching new products, ensuring thorough market coverage and customer engagement.
- Analyze detailed micro-market dynamics to uncover incremental opportunities and monitor competition.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize distribution efficiency and inventory planning.
- Develop strategies to onboard new sub-dealers and reactivate underperforming ones.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sales orders and communicate pertinent information across teams.
- Promote transparency and clear decision-making within the sales team and stakeholders.
- Effectively prioritize various tasks and projects with agility and accountability.

- Proficiency in CRM system management tailored for cement sales.

Qualifications and Experience
- MBA from a reputed institute with specialization in Sales or Marketing.
- Three to five years of professional experience in sales and marketing preferably in cement, construction, or building materials industries.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends and effective sales strategies for construction materials.
Additional Information
This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Area Sales Managers, back-office teams, and logistics officers, as well as managing relationships with external sub-dealers. Focus on transparent communication and team accountability is essential to the success in this role.
