About the Role

Join Vestas as a Dispatcher, contributing to a global Capacity & Master Planning team supporting offshore wind turbine sites worldwide. Your main mission will be to coordinate and optimize service orders for technicians, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maintaining communication with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and prepare service orders for technicians, performing technical checks upon completion.
  • Plan and assign tasks within your territory considering factors like weather and skill sets to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors to determine necessary resources including competencies, materials, and tools for service orders.
  • Consolidate and refine the composition of work orders to maximize productivity.
  • Maintain daily communication with technicians, technical support teams, and customers.
  • Drive continuous improvements by identifying potential areas for enhancement and planning strategically for upcoming tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical planning or dispatcher roles, preferably within technical environments.
  • Proficiency in IT systems; prior experience working with SAP is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of wind turbine generator (WTG) technology and keen interest in technical documentation.
  • Fluency in German and English languages.
