Job description
Role Overview
The Dispatch Executive will be accountable for managing B2B client billing and maintaining detailed records, coordinating day-to-day dispatch operations, verifying correct packaging and product transfer activities among outlets.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and issue invoices to B2B clients within deadlines.
- Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and records related to B2B clients and dispatch details.
- Perform and log vehicle temperature inspections daily prior to dispatch.
- Keep precise records of daily dispatches for both B2B and outlet deliveries.
- Manage the transfer of products efficiently between outlets.
- Oversee the packaging team to ensure correct and secure packing of orders for B2B and outlets.
- Verify products against invoices and order sheets before dispatch.
- Confirm correct quantity, product specifications, packaging, and labeling before releasing orders for delivery.
- Collaborate with production, packaging, and dispatch teams to guarantee timely and efficient dispatch processes.
- Promptly report any discrepancies, missing items, packaging damages, or dispatch problems to the respective teams.
Requirements and Skills
- Proficient in using Excel and basic invoicing or billing procedures.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Effective coordination and communication abilities.
- Capacity to handle multiple dispatch operations at the same time.
- Prior experience in B2B operations, bakery or food production, logistics, or dispatch roles is advantageous.
Additional Information
Reporting to the Operations or B2B Manager.
Salary: INR 15,000 to 20,000 per month.
