About the Role
The Dishwasher at Nothing Bundt Cakes is essential for maintaining a clean and efficient bakery environment. This position involves ensuring all baking equipment, utensils, and tools are washed, sanitized, and ready for use, supporting the team in creating delicious cakes that delight customers daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually wash, rinse, and sanitize all baking pans, utensils, dishes, and tools efficiently while adhering to company standards.
- Assist bakers by flipping cakes as needed.
- Monitor sanitation levels to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Regularly collect garbage, sweep, mop floors, and clean floor drains.
- Perform routine cleaning of windows, shelves, counters, refrigerators, coolers, and bathrooms.
- Clean and restock the workstation, ensuring cleaning supplies are prepared for the next shift.
- Help with unloading, processing, and storing weekly delivery supplies.
- Support team members with cleaning and organizing workstations as required.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines along with company policies, maintaining dress code and personal hygiene standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No formal education or previous experience is mandatory; however, prior experience in dishwashing or operational support within a bakery, restaurant, or food service environment is advantageous.
