Job Summary

The dishwasher maintains cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, kitchen areas, and equipment to ensure a safe and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove food residues from dirty dishes and wash them either manually or using dishwashing machines, guaranteeing thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, trays according to set procedures ensuring they are sanitary.
• Polish silverware with specialized equipment or by hand to meet cleanliness standards.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain specified temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keep dishwashing areas tidy and compliant with safety regulations.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors maintaining sanitation and safety standards.
• Clean work surfaces including tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Dispose of trash properly, including steam cleaning or washing garbage containers.
• Assist with moving supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; help load and unload supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Prior experience in dishwashing is mandatory.

Work Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position based at EF Academy, 1539 East Howard Street, Pasadena, CA 91104. Workdays and hours may vary, totaling approximately 40 hours per week. Further schedule details will be provided during the interview.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00.
