Job Overview

Join Domino's as a dedicated Dishwasher, contributing as an essential team member in a dynamic, fast-moving kitchen. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and organization of dishes and kitchenware to support smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and remove all soiled dishware, including prep tubs, pans, utensils, and cookware, ensuring thorough washing, drying, and proper storage.
  • Prepare kitchen and dining areas for upcoming shifts by cleaning and replenishing cooking stations.
  • Clean kitchen appliances and machines like ovens, makeline, and cut table regularly to maintain hygiene and functionality.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean dishwashing area.
  • Assist in unloading and storing deliveries to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Sweep and mop floors promptly, especially after spills to prevent hazards.
  • Empty trash and keep garbage bins clean.
  • Support other restaurant employees with various tasks as required.
  • Report any accidents or violations of food safety protocols to management immediately.
  • Ensure the dining and kitchen areas are consistently prepared at opening, during operation, and at closing.
  • Set up the kitchen line for peak periods and reset at day end for the next business day.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimal prior work experience required as on-the-job training is provided.
  • Strong communication skills and effective problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Excellent time management skills to operate efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand or walk for 8 to 10 hour shifts and lift items up to 30 pounds.
  • Demonstrates pride and responsibility in work performance.
  • Committed to following all food safety regulations and procedures.
  • Possession of a Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate is mandatory.

Education & Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates will receive training to familiarize themselves with company-specific systems and sanitation methods. Positive communication and attitude are critical for success.

Working Conditions

The dishwasher works in a bustling, warm, and occasionally noisy kitchen environment. Tasks involve handling large quantities of kitchenware and sharp objects safely. The dish pit is wet and potentially slippery, and the area contains equipment like triple stack conveyor belt ovens and multiple warming shelves, requiring ongoing awareness of safety to avoid injury.
