Overview

The Neighborhood at Vestavia Hills is looking for a dedicated Dishwasher to join their team. This full-time role involves various kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks vital to food safety and sanitation.

Working Hours

The position typically works Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required. Specific shifts are assigned by management.

Reporting

The Dishwasher reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage dishwashing and pot washing stations, ensuring proper setup and upkeep.
• Operate dish machines in accordance with food safety standards to clean all kitchenware, including dishes, silverware, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
• Maintain pot and pan sinks following sanitation guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize large and small production equipment such as stoves, ovens, fryers, microwaves, mixers, slicers, refrigerators, freezers, work tables, prep sinks, and ventilation hoods.
• Perform janitorial duties in dining service areas including the dining room and bistro to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Handle all food storage, cleaning, and preparation tasks complying with all relevant federal, state, and local sanitary regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in a similar position.
