Delivery Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a Delivery Driver to efficiently deliver products and support various operational tasks at our Whitehall, PA location.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate all required equipment for daily tasks.
• Transfer ingredients from delivery area to storage locations including walk-in cooler and work area.
• Prepare products as needed.
• Answer and process telephone orders accurately.
• Manage inventory and complete related documentation.
• Perform cleaning duties for equipment and facility on an approximately daily basis.
• Deliver orders by car to customer doors, including distribution of flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate delivery routes using maps, locating addresses within the designated delivery zone.
• Manage adverse delivery conditions such as multi-story buildings and private residences while carrying products.

Skills and Abilities

• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with ability to make accurate monetary change.
• Proficient verbal, written, and telephone communication skills for order processing.
• Good motor coordination for precise and rapid manual tasks.
• Proficiency in using computer keyboards or touch screens for order entry.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions correctly.
• Effective communication to interact with customers and coworkers during order processing in person and by phone.
