Job Summary

The Dishwasher position involves maintaining dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition to support foodservice operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food debris from dishes and wash them manually or via dishwashing machines according to assigned equipment, ensuring thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays using prescribed procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
• Polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths as directed, ensuring all utensils meet sanitation requirements.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to dishwashing operations.
• Monitor and maintain chemical levels and water temperatures in accordance with established guidelines.
• Keep the dishwashing area organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain sanitation and safety.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Dispose of trash properly, including steam cleaning or hosing out garbage containers.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist loading and unloading of deliveries as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule and Location

Full-time position based at Brooks Sports - 3400 Stone Way North, Seattle, WA 98103. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Further details will be shared during the interview process.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a dishwasher is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $22.00 to $23.00 per hour. An internal employee referral bonus is available.
