Position Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove food residues from dirty dishes by scraping and rinsing, then wash either by hand or using dishwashing machinery according to assigned procedures, guaranteeing thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
- Clean pots, pans, and trays meticulously following prescribed guidelines to maintain hygiene standards.
- Polish silverware employing techniques such as burnishing machines, chemical dipping, buffing wheels, and hand cloths to achieve optimal cleanliness and shine.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maintain required temperature and chemical levels for dishwashing processes.
- Organize and maintain the dish area to meet safety and cleanliness requirements.
- Perform regular sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors to uphold sanitation standards.
- Clean food preparation surfaces including worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
- Manage waste by removing trash to designated containers and conducting steam cleaning or hosing of garbage cans.
- Support logistics by moving supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and assist in loading/unloading goods as needed.
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.
Work Schedule
Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Additional details will be shared during the interview process.
Compensation
Fixed hourly wage of $29.30.

Safety and Compliance
- Follow company policies including the use of medium weight cut gloves when handling sharp tools and knives.
- Wear oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves when dealing with hot equipment.
- Utilize slip-resistant footwear and practice proper lifting techniques at all times.

This role is covered by all applicable federal, state, and local leave laws, including paid and unpaid time off benefits, especially for positions in Washington State and Maryland.
