About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and organized individuals to join our team as Dishwashers at Domino's in Odessa, TX. This role requires working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment alongside a cooperative team.

Responsibilities

• Collect and remove used dishware, prep tubs, pans, utensils, and cookware from the kitchen.
• Thoroughly wash, dry, and organize all kitchenware in their designated places to ensure availability of clean items.
• Prepare the dining and kitchen areas for upcoming shifts by cleaning and replenishing cooking stations.
• Clean kitchen equipment and appliances, such as ovens and cut tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Assist with unloading and proper storage of deliveries.
• Sweep and mop floors, especially when spills occur.
• Dispose of trash and rinse garbage containers regularly.
• Support restaurant staff by assisting in various tasks as needed.
• Report any kitchen accidents or violations of food safety protocols promptly.
• Ensure the dining area is ready before opening, during hours of operation, and at closing.
• Set up kitchen lines for busy periods and reset them at closing for the next business day.

Requirements

• Minimal prior work experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent time management skills suitable for multitasking in a busy workplace.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for 8-10 hour shifts and lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Demonstrated pride in work quality and willingness to adhere to all food safety procedures.
• Possession of a Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate is mandatory.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. No prior experience is necessary since relevant training will be offered on operating specific systems, cleaning chemicals handling, and washing procedures. A positive attitude and solid communication skills are essential.

Work Environment

This position involves handling various kitchen utensils including sharp objects, requiring safe practices. The workplace is warm, active, potentially noisy, and the dishwashing area can be wet with slipping hazards. The presence of conveyor belt ovens and mobile carts requires situational awareness to prevent injury.
