Primary Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Sanitize all items following health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station, including floors, walls, and countertops; regularly dispose of trash responsibly.
• Operate and care for dishwashing equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.
• Restock cleaning supplies like detergents, sanitizers, and towels as needed.
• Organize and sort clean dishes, utensils, and equipment for efficient kitchen access.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and properly storing items.
• Show eagerness and capability to learn various restaurant roles to enhance contributions and take on more responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior dishwashing experience in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Manual dexterity to manage industrial dishwashers, kitchen equipment, and detailed tasks.
• Knowledge of kitchen health and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with measurement systems.
• Strong reliability, work ethic, and ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
• Physical capability to bend and reach overhead frequently.
• Stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 pounds.
