Primary Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, glasses, flatware, pots, and pans manually or with dishwashing machines.
• Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization aligned with health and safety standards.
• Keep the dishwashing station clean, including floors, walls, and counters; manage waste disposal properly.
• Operate and care for dishwashing equipment, notifying the Kitchen Manager of any issues requiring repair or maintenance.
• Restock necessary cleaning materials such as detergents, sanitizers, and towels.
• Organize cleaned items methodically to facilitate kitchen efficiency.
• Help with receiving deliveries and correctly storing supplies.
• Demonstrate readiness to learn multiple roles within the restaurant to expand responsibilities and contribute effectively to the team.
• Perform any additional assigned duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous dishwashing experience in a restaurant or related setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Manual dexterity to handle industrial dishwashing machines, pots, pans, and related tools, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with basic measurement systems.
• Strong commitment to hard work, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to frequently bend, reach overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
