Role Overview

As a Dishwasher at Topgolf in West Des Moines, IA, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen by thoroughly washing dishes, glassware, utensils, and cooking equipment. This includes using dishwashers or hand-washing methods and ensuring all items are stored properly after cleaning. You will also uphold sanitation and food safety standards while supporting the kitchen team with other duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, glasses, flatware, pots, and pans through dishwashing machines or manual washing.
• Store cleaned items in their specified locations promptly and efficiently.
• Keep kitchen workspaces, equipment, and utensils clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Sweep and mop floors, remove trash, and ensure the kitchen environment is safe and tidy.
• Sort waste and place it in appropriate pickup spots.
• Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries as needed.
• Carry out additional kitchen tasks as assigned by supervisors or culinary staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

• No mandatory educational credential; high school equivalency can be advantageous.
• Experience in dishwashing or related kitchen roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding kitchen setting.
• Keen attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical ability to stand for long durations and lift heavy trays or racks regularly.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and food safety standards.
• Collaborative mindset with good communication skills.
