The Director of Security Solutions Architecture for the APJC region leads an expert team of Security Solutions Architects to implement the technical strategy that accelerates the growth of Splunk Security across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and guide a distributed team of senior Security Solution Architects across APJC markets, fostering an environment conducive to autonomous, impactful technology leadership.
• Develop and own the regional technical strategy for Splunk Security, tailoring global initiatives and innovations to align with regional priorities, market demands, and competition.
• Oversee technical delivery to ensure specialist resources target high-impact opportunities and initiatives that boost pipeline, technical victories, revenue growth, and renewals.
• Collaborate effectively with Account Solutions Engineering to provide deep security expertise, architectural leadership, and consulting support enhancing solution development and customer engagement while maintaining primary ownership by Account SEs.
• Lead strategic customer discussions involving CISOs and senior technology executives, focusing on security transformation, SOC modernization, digital resilience, and the incorporation of AI-driven security operations.
• Integrate Splunk and Cisco capabilities to produce compelling security architectures and narratives that differentiate offerings and stimulate growth.
• Advance specialist skill sets and scalability by creating repeatable architecture frameworks, technical plays, enablement methods, and field practices to enhance effectiveness across accounts and partners.
• Serve as a key liaison with global Security, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure APJC regional insights inform broader priorities and roadmaps.
• Champion the development of senior technical leadership within the Security Architecture community, fostering a culture of credibility, customer focus, cross-team collaboration, accountability, and leadership succession.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with over 15 years of relevant experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, technical sales, solutions engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Proven leadership experience managing and inspiring senior technical teams dispersed across multiple countries.
• Track record in heading regional technical sales, security architecture, or specialist organizations.
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise security architecture, security operations, and evolving cybersecurity trends.
• Ability to translate business strategies into technical execution and measurable commercial success.
• Strong engagement skills with senior executives including CISOs, CIOs, and other technology leaders on complex transformational initiatives.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Partner teams in a global business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge in Security Operations, SIEM, SOC modernization, threat detection and response, security analytics, and automation.
• Insight into AI and agentic technologies and their burgeoning role in cybersecurity and security operations.
• Familiarity with Splunk Security products and/or wider Cisco Security solutions.
• Experience managing specialist teams across APJC's varied markets.
• Demonstrated leadership in senior technical specialist teams focusing on influence and strategic impact over scale.
