Job description

Role Overview

Lead the growth and management of long-term relationships with high net worth (HNW) clients, ensuring profitable portfolio expansion and exceptional client service within private banking.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable business expansion by acquiring and nurturing long-standing HNW client relationships.
  • Be responsible for the performance metrics of your personal client portfolio, including net new money (NNM), assets under management (AUM), revenue targets, and key operational indicators such as client acquisition and satisfaction.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and effectively convert them into clients.
  • Expand individual client portfolios by strengthening existing relationships and implementing asset allocation strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Provide, oversee, and periodically review investment solutions aligned with client profiles, ensuring positive performance outcomes.
  • Manage costs prudently and mitigate operational risks to sustain profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with support teams, product specialists, and business partners to offer comprehensive banking solutions and support cross-selling initiatives.
  • Adhere strictly to risk management policies, addressing customer issues promptly and ensuring regulatory and risk committee reporting where necessary.
  • Stay compliant with regulatory frameworks and internal ethical standards, participating actively in governance committees and addressing audit findings.
  • Uphold exemplary conduct reflecting the Group’s values and Code of Conduct, embedding a culture of integrity and regulatory compliance.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum seven years experience in private banking relationship management.
  • Proven expertise in business communication and networking to develop prospect pipelines.
  • Relevant licenses and certifications, including mandatory CACS Paper 1 and 2, and professional memberships as required.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to maintain firm adherence to compliance and business guidelines.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation competencies.
