Director - Digital Subsystem Solutions

About the Role

Join Infineon Technologies as a Director in Digital Subsystem Solutions located in Singapore. You will be part of an innovative Research & Development team that focuses on pioneering new technologies and shaping future advancements. This leadership role entails managing multiple teams across various sites, driving architecture decisions, and promoting technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple teams situated at different locations.
• Manage hiring processes, coach team members, oversee performance management and support career growth.
• Develop and strengthen competencies in RTL design, design verification, physical implementation interface, design-for-testability (DFT), and safety/security protocols.
• Define and steer architecture and micro-architecture strategies for design blocks or entire system-on-chips (SoCs).
• Supervise RTL design, integration tasks, and ensure readiness for signoff standards such as timing, clock domain crossing (CDC), resets, and power intent.
• Implement and enhance design methodologies including linting, CDC/reset domain crossing, formal verification, low-power design using UPF, and DFT readiness.
• Review and sanction technical documents including specifications, RTL quality metrics, timing constraints, signoff reports, and engineering change orders.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Bring more than 10-15 years of experience in digital integrated circuit (IC) and system-on-chip (SoC) development.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in RTL design using SystemVerilog or VHDL, integration practices, and IP reuse techniques.
• Have in-depth knowledge of verification methodologies and achieving closure on verification tasks.
• Understand static timing analysis (STA), clock domain crossing (CDC), reset handling, and power management concepts.
• Be knowledgeable about fundamental design-for-test (DFT) methodologies.
• Exhibit a silicon bring-up and debugging perspective and mindset.
• Have leadership experience managing multiple projects, stakeholder relationships, vendor and IP management.
