About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Fergus, Ontario. The working language is English and it involves managing a restaurant in an urban environment with a budget ranging from 500,001 to 1,500,000 dollars. The role includes overseeing daily operations with a team of 11 to 15 people and requires strong customer service orientation, leadership skills, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the types of services provided and establish operational procedures to ensure efficiency.
• Conduct performance evaluations of staff members.
• Ensure all health and safety standards are strictly followed within the establishment.
• Negotiate and manage arrangements with suppliers for food and other necessary products.
• Communicate with clients regarding catering services or use of the facilities.
• Participate in the development and execution of marketing strategies to boost business.
• Handle customer complaints and address their concerns promptly and effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and assess daily restaurant operations.

Work Environment and Tools

• Supervision of 11 to 15 team members.
• Utilization of management systems including MS Office suite, Outlook, Windows, and Word.
• Urban location with access to public transportation.
• Working conditions may involve pressure, repetitive tasks, and require great attention to detail.
