Primary Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support focused on daily living skills, including meal preparation, housekeeping, personal hygiene, grooming, and transportation
• Encourage and assist participation in social, recreational, and community activities such as shopping and events
• Support individuals in reaching personal goals and celebrate their achievements
• Promote independence, personal choice, and self-advocacy within clients
• Maintain accurate records documenting care provided, activities engaged in, and progress made
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuous, high-quality support

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent credential
• Successfully complete required background checks and training programs
• Hold a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance (either primary or secondary)
• Demonstrate the ability to work safely and respectfully in both client homes and community settings
• Display compassion, dependability, and a strong willingness to make a positive difference

Preferred Experience

• Previous work supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) or autism
• Experience implementing Individual Activity Support Plans (ASP) and Plans of Service and Supports (PSS)
• Familiarity with behavior support techniques such as redirection, visual prompting, and modifying environments for better outcomes
