Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with everyday activities including cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, grooming, and transportation.
• Encourage and support participation in community and social engagements such as shopping and events.
• Aid clients in reaching their personal goals while acknowledging their achievements.
• Foster independence, personal choice, and self-advocacy for those in your care.
• Maintain precise documentation of care provided, daily activities, and client progress.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure consistent and quality support.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear background check and completion of required training.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation with valid insurance documentation.
• Ability to work respectfully and safely within clients’ homes and community settings.
• Demonstrate compassion, reliability, and a genuine desire to improve lives.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or autism, including utilizing Individual Activity Support Plans and Plans of Service and Supports.
• Knowledge of foundational behavior support techniques such as redirection, visual cues, and environmental modifications.
