Digital Enterprise Architecture Section Head

Role Overview

This position leads the development and supervision of enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps, and standards aimed at synchronizing IT capabilities with business transformation priorities. It ensures that solution designs, technology adoption, and IT investments are integrated, scalable, and sustainable, supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold the enterprise architecture vision, guiding principles, and roadmaps that align IT functions with overall business strategy.
• Champion innovation, scalability, and sustainable digital transformation within the architecture function.
• Create and promote architecture standards, reference models, and patterns across domains including technology, applications, integration, infrastructure, and data.
• Ensure project and solution compliance with enterprise architecture principles through oversight during both design and implementation phases.
• Collaborate with governance teams to maintain adherence to architecture guidelines.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams for solution design, ensuring alignment with enterprise roadmaps and standards.
• Review and approve solution architectures focusing on integration, security, and resilience.
• Serve as the escalation point for architecture-related decisions and conflicts.
• Align technology roadmaps with business priorities by translating strategies into IT capabilities and identifying opportunities for digital innovation.
• Promote cross-team collaboration to deliver architectural outcomes that generate measurable business value.
• Regularly report to the Digital Transformation Manager on architecture alignment, roadmaps, and potential risks.
• Build and manage the enterprise architecture team, advancing expertise across applications, data, infrastructure, and integration domains.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge repositories by incorporating lessons learned, best practices, and updates on emerging technologies into architecture processes.
• Support monitoring activities to ensure policy and procedural compliance.
• Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities in systems and processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and adapt to changing business environments.
• Engage in mentoring, coaching, and on-the-job training of team members, setting clear priorities and delegating responsibilities.
• Foster a high-performance culture aligned with company values.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• Preferred certifications include TOGAF, NORA, ITIL 4, cloud architecture, enterprise architecture modeling, SOA/integration, and COBIT to support governance and compliance.
