Digital Cloud Solution Architect - Azure

Job Overview

This role supports Small, Medium & Corporate (SMC/SMB) and Digital Sales organizations by proactively engaging with customer technical decision makers to build credibility and influence through expertise in Microsoft cloud solutions. The individual will collaborate across product, support, and partner teams to overcome technical blockers and maximize customer success through capacity planning and strategic engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of technical architectures for customer and partner projects, providing thought leadership throughout pre-sales and implementation phases.
• Drive pilots, proofs of concept, and demonstration of value across multiple technical solutions to transition customers from evaluation to productive deployment, utilizing tools such as Azure Credit Offer (ACO) to facilitate adoption.
• Apply governance and risk management methodologies to identify and mitigate business and technical risks during solution implementation.
• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to develop tailored architectural solutions demonstrated via collaborative sessions with customers and partners.
• Identify and resolve technical obstacles to accelerate implementation timelines, coordinating escalation of non-technical issues where necessary.
• Develop and manage customer timetables to obtain stakeholder buy-in aligned with digital transformation goals, regularly monitoring progress and reporting on people, process, and technology aspects.
• Proactively generate demand by identifying new workloads and engagements in partnership with the sales team, taking ownership of milestones and promoting a unified Microsoft approach.
• Enhance customer success by communicating financial value, expanding networks, and serving as a strategic advisor aligning Microsoft cloud capabilities to business goals.
• Represent customer interests internally by providing feedback and insights to product teams and driving prioritization of resources and features.
• Maintain updated knowledge of customer businesses, industry trends, compliance, and competitive landscapes to effectively challenge and guide customer cloud initiatives.
• Lead technical discussions to secure wins for core and adjacent Microsoft technologies and establish clear operational guidelines for extended teams and partner interactions.
• Optimize resource utilization through capacity planning, prioritization, and support of team efforts maximizing customer engagement impact.
• Collaborate with partners in co-selling scenarios, serving as the liaison to facilitate communication, share resources, and resolve escalations.
• Collect and communicate competitive intelligence to internal teams to enhance strategic products and services development.
• Customize and manage demonstration assets and sessions showcasing Microsoft product solutions, ensuring standards alignment and effectiveness.
• Develop and monitor action plans to increase customer adoption of key Microsoft solutions contributing to business outcomes.
• Continuously build personal expertise, addressing learning gaps through proactive knowledge sharing, mentoring, and community participation to elevate the architect community.
• Deliver trainings, workshops, and webinars to educate customers and colleagues on Microsoft cloud solutions’ benefits and capabilities.
• Facilitate cloud platform readiness by engaging stakeholders at the C-level and orchestrating collaborative efforts between Microsoft, partners, and customers.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, accompanied by one of the following experience thresholds:

• At least 4 years in technical architecture, consulting, design, implementation, or technical sales with a relevant degree.
• Relevant Microsoft or competitive platform certifications with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Or at least 5 years of equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred qualifications include:

• A Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years’ experience in technical architecture, consulting, design, implementation, or sales.
• 4+ years dedicated experience in cloud-based solution design, migration, and technology management.
• Proficiency in Russian, Serbian, or Czech languages is desirable.

Additional Information

The salary range for this role in Ireland typically ranges between €60,300 and €102,600 annually, with eligibility for benefits and additional compensation. The position remains open for a minimum of five days and accepts applications on a rolling basis until filled.
