Dietary Aide

Position Overview

Sevita is seeking a committed Dietary Aide to join the Fort Walton Beach, FL location working full-time on day shift. This role is integral in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by ensuring nutritional care aligned with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and apply standard dietary procedures through hands-on training with experienced personnel.
• Prepare menu items ensuring adherence to presentation and preparation guidelines as per organizational policies.
• Manage and maintain adequate food inventory and necessary supplies.
• Keep kitchen areas, equipment, and serving utensils clean and hygienic.
• Identify and promptly report any safety hazards, equipment issues, accidents, or incidents.
• Uphold and encourage compliance with the rights of individuals served.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Successful completion of required background screenings.
• Demonstrates compassion and dedication to quality in all aspects of work.
• Possesses foundational knowledge of nutrition and dietary best practices.
• Exhibits strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication abilities paired with dependability and responsibility.
