About MENTOR Adult Day Health - Sevita
MENTOR Adult Day Health, part of Sevita, offers day programs for seniors with complex medical or rehabilitation needs. These services enable older adults to receive quality healthcare while staying engaged in their communities and living independently in their own homes. The programs are staffed by qualified nurses and caregivers who deliver personalized support to each individual served.
Role Overview
We are seeking Homemakers to deliver in-home care services in Wareham and surrounding areas. This role involves flexible working hours based on availability and offers compensation of $18 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.
Key Duties
- Perform household chores including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping and other essential tasks.
- Offer companionship and support daily living routines.
- Provide limited assistance with personal daily living needs as appropriate.
- Use a mobile device to document services delivered.
- Communicate any concerns or changes to team members promptly.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must hold a valid full Driver's License for at least one year and have access to a reliable vehicle for travel.
- Possession of a valid and verifiable Homemaker Certificate is mandatory.
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Background checks must be successfully completed.
- Candidates should be dependable, compassionate, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Prior experience in homemaking, caregiving, or related fields is advantageous.
