Job Overview

Join the Pennex team in Leetonia, OH, as a Die Setter - Caustic. This role focuses on overseeing the cleaning process of used extrusion dies and preparing samples for quality checks to ensure production standards are met.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate cranes to assist with lifting and positioning extrusion dies safely.
  • Immerse dies in caustic solutions to remove aluminum residue effectively.
  • Maintain organization of dies throughout the cleaning process, prioritizing based on production schedules.
  • Perform washing, cleaning, and drying of extrusion dies thoroughly.
  • Coordinate timely refilling of caustic solutions and manage related processes.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the die shop regarding consumables, workflow issues, and prioritization.
  • Manage multiple activities efficiently through effective time management.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and equipment.
  • Willingness to work in diverse environments such as indoors and outdoors under varying weather conditions.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive and respectful demeanor toward colleagues and customers.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical examination and drug screening.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without need for employer-sponsored visa support.
  • Maintain dependable regular attendance.

Compensation Information
