Production Supervisor

Job Overview

We seek a dedicated and proactive Production & Operations Supervisor to handle daily manufacturing and operational duties for our soap and puja products manufacturing business. This role entails overseeing the entire production line, managing personnel, handling raw materials and inventory, as well as coordinating logistics and dispatch activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all daily production activities, ensuring targets are consistently met.
• Plan and organize manufacturing schedules according to orders and business needs.
• Allocate workforce effectively across various production tasks.
• Track and manage raw materials, packaging items, and other necessary production supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory documentation and guarantee timely material replenishment.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound material and finished goods movements.
• Oversee processes for packing, storage, dispatch, and logistics.
• Ensure quality and quantity standards are met for finished products before shipment.
• Maintain detailed records concerning production output, inventory levels, wastage, dispatches, and resource consumption.
• Monitor and take corrective action on wastage, damages, or inefficient material use.
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, vendors, and internal teams as necessary.
• Ensure appropriate upkeep of the workplace, including machinery, equipment, and production zones.
• Quickly identify operational problems and implement solutions to avoid delays.
• Assume full responsibility for resources, materials, equipment, and labor under supervision.
• Enforce discipline, safety measures, and adherence to company protocols among staff.
• Provide management with regular updates on production, inventory, logistics, and operational status.
