Role Overview

This full-time, on-location role in Sharjah is for a Die Cutting Machine Operator. The incumbent will be responsible for setting up, running, and supervising die cutting machinery used to fabricate packaging and related products, ensuring compliance with production guidelines and quality criteria.

Key Duties

• Prepare materials and adjust machinery to specified settings.
• Conduct test runs and continually inspect output for precision, alignment, and any product faults.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Report any technical malfunctions promptly to maintenance teams.
• Adhere strictly to safety and quality protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with production personnel to meet set production targets.
• Keep thorough and accurate records of production activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience operating die cutting or comparable packaging machines, including setup and basic troubleshooting.
• Understanding of manufacturing production workflows, quality checks, and safe equipment handling.
• Competent in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, work orders, and specifications with high attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical understanding and familiarity with routine machine upkeep and calibration.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork with production and maintenance staff.
• Physical capability to stand for long durations, handle materials, and thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Experience in packaging, printing, or FMCG production considered advantageous.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; vocational training in technical, industrial, or mechanical fields is preferred.
