Key Responsibilities
- Examine prescriptions to ensure correctness, verify required medications, and assess appropriateness for customers.
- Offer customers comprehensive guidance on medication interactions, potential side effects, dosing instructions, and storage requirements.
- Prepare and dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs through appropriate questioning and support.
- Meet sales objectives by applying effective sales strategies, including up-selling and cross-selling products across the Super Care product ranges.
- Manage procurement and inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies, ensuring proper storage and handling.
- Adhere strictly to local pharmacy regulations covering medication preparation, labeling, and distribution.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records as mandated by authorities such as the Dubai Health Authority and Ministry of Health.
- Coordinate with insurance providers to process claims timely and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including inventory control, expiry date management, and merchandising.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work varied shifts and at different locations as directed by management to support business needs.
Job Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D) from an accredited institution.
- Holding a valid DHA Pharmacist License or an eligibility letter from the Dubai Health Authority.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dispensing protocols, and patient counseling techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Readiness to work in a retail pharmacy setting and adapt to flexible shift schedules.
