About the Role
Join Jixaar AI as a DevOps Engineer responsible for owning and managing our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your efforts will ensure our platform operates at a 99.9% uptime for travelers globally, helping us scale reliably and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Docker-based deployment environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Configure, optimize, and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure smooth orchestration.
- Establish monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana to track performance and issues.
- Apply security best practices across all infrastructure components.
- Administer PostgreSQL and Redis clusters to support database needs.
- Manage incident responses and participate in on-call rotations for system reliability.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for infrastructure and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Proven expertise working with Docker and container orchestration technologies.
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation tools such as GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
- Experience with major cloud service providers, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong Linux system administration capabilities.
- Competency in monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure health.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies using tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with configuring NGINX web servers.
- Understanding of PostgreSQL database administration.
- Expertise managing Redis clusters.
- Relevant security certifications are advantageous.
