DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer based in Hyderabad to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure, particularly within AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to automate application releases.
• Automate the setup and configuration of cloud infrastructure leveraging Terraform and AWS CloudFormation templates.
• Administer core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and EKS to ensure efficient operations.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-based applications to achieve high availability and performance.
• Manage container orchestration platforms using Docker and Kubernetes (especially Amazon EKS).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code strategies for repeatable and scalable deployments.
• Use monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch to track system health, performance, and security.
• Diagnose and resolve issues affecting infrastructure, applications, and deployment workflows in various environments.
• Manage version control workflows employing Git-based platforms including GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Write automation scripts primarily utilizing Python, Shell, or Bash to streamline operational tasks.
• Establish logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions to maintain platform stability and reliability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to enhance deployment processes.
• Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices through management of IAM policies, security groups, data encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
• Optimize cloud resource use and cost-efficiency within AWS environments.
• Configure backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and systems for high availability.
• Support security integration within DevOps pipelines by incorporating security validations (DevSecOps).
• Prepare and update documentation including technical manuals, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in incident management, conduct root cause analyses, and contribute to continual process improvements.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be graduates with relevant experience in DevOps engineering.
