  • Architect, develop, and sustain automated CI/CD pipelines ensuring reliability and repeatability of deployments.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code methods to provision and manage cloud infrastructure at scale.
  • Set up operational standards including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-incident analyses.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to boost deployment rates, minimize lead times, and enhance quality of releases.
  • Integrate security and compliance controls into pipelines and cloud operations, embodying a DevSecOps approach.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and automate remediation tasks.
  • Provide mentorship to team members, conduct thorough code and configuration reviews, and promote standardized templates and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Between 5 to 9 years of relevant industry experience with a hands-on focus on AWS DevOps and cloud operational support.
  • Relevant academic background such as Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Computer Applications, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing production-grade CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of AWS services, cloud networking fundamentals, identity and access management, and deployment methodologies.
  • Proven capability supporting production environments including monitoring, incident management, and improving system reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sophisticated CI/CD techniques like blue-green and canary deployments along with automated rollback mechanisms.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and configuration management to ensure environment standardization.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies for AWS cloud-native deployments.
  • Ability to define and track DevOps key performance indicators such as deployment frequency, mean time to recovery (MTTR), and change failure rate.
  • Experience partnering with security teams to integrate vulnerability scans, compliance checks, and secret management into CI/CD workflows.
  • Track record of leading and mentoring DevOps teams while facilitating alignment across teams on release and operational procedures.
