About the Role
We seek an adept DevOps Engineer with 4 to 5 years of extensive experience in managing, automating, and enhancing cloud infrastructure alongside software deployment workflows. The role demands close collaboration with development, QA, and engineering teams to uphold the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of cloud-hosted healthcare and IoT applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines to streamline application build, testing, and deployment stages.
- Deploy and manage containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes orchestrations.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor application and server metrics by employing monitoring and logging technologies.
- Administer Linux servers, configure networks, and manage cloud environments.
- Enforce security best practices encompassing access control, encryption, vulnerability assessments, and secret handling.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and production-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement strategies for backups, disaster recovery, and ensuring high availability.
- Work collaboratively with software development, QA, and product teams to enhance deployment processes and system robustness.
- Keep technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures current.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 5 years of practical experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Familiarity with healthcare technology, medical device integration, or IoT applications.
- Expertise in at least one primary cloud service provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on proficiency with CI/CD suites such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid skills in container technology including Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools for infrastructure automation.
- Strong Linux administration abilities, shell scripting, and networking concepts.
- Working knowledge of Git for version control and code management.
- Acquaintance with monitoring and logging frameworks like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Understanding of cloud security principles including IAM, SSL/TLS, firewall setup, and secure deployment standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting competencies.
