Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous DevOps Engineer to join Armakuni. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing and implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure for medium-sized, multi-tier environments, and driving deployment best practices amongst development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibit clear and effective communication skills
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines following Git best practices
- Apply fundamental DevOps knowledge involving containerization technologies such as Docker, Docker Compose, and containerized web servers like Nginx and Apache
- Manage and utilize AWS and Azure cloud environments proficiently
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters with hands-on expertise
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform
- Adopt well-architected cloud frameworks
- Set up monitoring and observability platforms for application performance and operations
- Use automation pipeline tools to deploy web applications leveraging cloud best practices
- Assist with application and infrastructure migration employing AWS migration tools
- Engage in cloud modernization, SaaS, and multi-tenancy projects (advantageous)
- Ensure security compliance integrating DevSecOps tools and processes
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and strong debugging abilities
- Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of infrastructure, observability, and operational platforms within Azure, including operational monitoring and dashboards via Azure Managed Grafana
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant DevOps experience
- Proficient in Git best practices
- Strong foundational understanding of container technologies including Docker and containerized web servers
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud services
- Must have working knowledge of Kubernetes
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, especially Terraform considered a plus
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance monitoring tools
- Knowledge of migration tools for AWS and cloud modernization approaches is beneficial
- Understanding of SaaS/ multi-tenancy environments is an advantage
- Knowledge or experience with security compliance and DevSecOps processes considered a plus
- Leadership and troubleshooting skills are essential
