DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of infrastructure management, deployment pipelines, and enhancing developer workflows. The position aims to make the software delivery process safe, efficient, and routine while ensuring underlying systems remain robust and reliable.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for various application teams.
• Manage cloud infrastructure leveraging infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
• Oversee observability systems including logging, metrics collection, and tracing capabilities.
• Enhance developer experience by accelerating deployment cycles and minimizing wait times.
• Handle incident responses promptly and conduct thorough post-incident analyses.
• Collaborate with security teams to enhance system hardening and maintain compliance standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of three years working in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or platform engineering roles.
• Proficient in at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker containers, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Experience using CI/CD platforms including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Strong scripting abilities in Bash, Python, or Go programming languages.

Compensation

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location, typically ranging between $110,000 and $180,000 USD equivalent annually, plus additional benefits.
