About the Role
Join Parsons, a company fostering innovation, agility, and personal growth, as a Design Lead in Tabūk, Saudi Arabia. This role offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring technical excellence and outstanding project delivery from concept inception to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead multidisciplinary design development on complex projects to meet quality and compliance standards.
- Provide technical guidance to design teams, ensuring conformity to project goals and client requirements.
- Review design outputs, confirming alignment with standards, regulations, and client expectations.
- Track design progress, maintain quality, and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and discipline leads to address technical and resource challenges.
- Assist in project planning activities including scope definition, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate communication between internal teams, consultants, clients, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Guarantee cohesive integration of different design disciplines and consistency across project documentation.
- Identify and resolve complex technical and design issues using innovative and practical solutions.
- Promote best practices, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support the creation and enforcement of design standards, procedures, and quality management protocols.
- Encourage a collaborative, inclusive, and professional environment fostering teamwork and innovation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in design management, project delivery, or multidisciplinary project settings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams on large and complex projects.
- In-depth knowledge of project delivery methodologies, design management, and technical coordination.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Experience facilitating design reviews, technical workshops, and project meetings.
- Knowledge in managing design risks, change management processes, and quality assurance standards.
- Proven ability to mentor and cultivate team performance and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
- Relevant professional certification or registration.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure, industrial, transportation, or development projects.
- Proficiency with digital delivery platforms, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and project management tools.
- Track record of driving innovation, process improvements, and operational excellence.
- Experience working in diverse, multicultural, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial insight into client expectations and project delivery.
