Depot Clerk

Job Overview

We are seeking a Depot Clerk to manage daily administrative duties and inventory activities at a PVC pipes manufacturing depot located in Hyderabad. The role involves handling stock records, coordinating material movement, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure smooth depot operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain precise records of all incoming and outgoing materials at the depot.
• Prepare and manage delivery notes, goods receipts, invoices, and other stock-related documents.
• Regularly update stock registers and inventory databases.
• Coordinate with personnel involved in loading and unloading of materials.
• Confirm the quantity and condition of goods received and dispatched from the depot.
• Organize and file all depot paperwork systematically.
• Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, suppliers, and the accounts team to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and promptly report any shortages or inconsistencies.
• Assist in conducting periodic physical stock verifications.
• Maintain an orderly depot environment with up-to-date records.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree is required.
• Maximum age limit of 30 years.
• Proven experience working with Tally software.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
• Strong documentation skills and a good grasp of record-keeping techniques.
• Fundamental understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges between INR 25,000 and INR 35,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
