Role Overview

The Department Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operational activities within their department. This includes managing high volume stock, ensuring daily stock recovery, and achieving sales growth by meeting defined department KPIs. The role also demands leadership to cultivate a team delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining impeccable department visual merchandising and standards.

• Preferably solid background in retail leadership roles.
• Strong capability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with visual merchandising techniques and standards.
• Physically fit to handle large quantities of stock and maintain a consistent work pace.
• Adopts an owner’s mindset in managing the department.
• Exudes passion and motivation to inspire and lead the team.
• Demonstrates resilience and innovation when addressing challenges.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using IT tools relevant to the role.
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it (training funded by the company).
