This role involves delivering primary dental care focused on diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and abnormalities affecting teeth, gums, and associated oral structures. The professional may also handle diseases involving the nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues that impact tooth vitality.

Experience and Skills Required

• At least a decade of clinical experience post-specialization as an Endodontist is mandatory.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing various endodontic scenarios, with a particular emphasis on handling intricate root canal anatomies using magnification tools.
• Skilled in retreatment procedures aided by microscopic visualization technologies.
• Proficient in utilizing Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) within endodontic treatments.
• Capable of addressing complications such as root perforations and dealing with fractured instruments.
• Dedicated to maintaining high standards through quality assurance and following evidence-based treatment protocols.

Educational Credentials

• Holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree along with a Master's degree specializing clinically in Endodontic Dentistry.
• Possession of certification from a recognized dental board is preferred.
• Must fulfill eligibility requirements for registration as an Endodontic specialist under the Dental Healthcare Professional (DHP) guidelines applicable in Qatar.
