Job description
Job Overview
The Senior Process Engineer will conduct comprehensive studies, planning, initiation, and assessment of infrastructure projects to guarantee the availability of common facilities within the industrial cities. This is essential to support anticipated expansion for existing and future industries managed by QatarEnergy, Joint Ventures, and Asset Operators.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate effectively with various QatarEnergy departments, Joint Ventures, and asset operators to identify synergy opportunities. Develop necessary conceptual studies, formulate development plans and project concepts, create engineering plans, and project execution plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 10 years of extensive design experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical sectors.
- Preferably 5 to 8 years of this experience should be with consulting or engineering firms.
- Proven experience throughout the project lifecycle along with project management and heightened supervisory capabilities.
- Familiarity with international practices along with sensitivity to cultural differences.
Educational Qualifications
Possession of an internationally recognized Bachelor's Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering is mandatory.
