Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Demand Planning COE Lead to spearhead global demand planning excellence at a leading manufacturing firm in the automotive tire sector. This role requires a professional well-versed in supply chain planning, forecasting methodologies, and driving digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive global strategy for Demand Planning Center of Excellence.
- Lead the design, enhancement, and optimization of demand planning procedures, tools, and systems.
- Enhance forecast accuracy by leveraging demand sensing techniques and predictive analytics.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align demand planning activities.
- Champion the integration of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and spearhead digital transformation projects.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for advanced planning platforms such as SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis, and others.
- Oversee cross-departmental projects ensuring stakeholder alignment and successful delivery.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to regional demand planning teams, fostering knowledge sharing and development.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in demand planning or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Deep expertise in forecasting methodologies and statistical modeling techniques.
- Proficient with advanced planning software tools such as SAP IBP, o9, Blue Yonder, and Kinaxis.
- Proven track record leading transformation initiatives in complex global and matrixed organizations.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement and influencing across diverse teams.
- MBA or relevant master’s degree is preferred.
