DeltaV Automation Engineer

Role Overview

Join Cognizant as a DeltaV Automation Engineer based in Dublin, where you will engage in commissioning and on-site support, along with creating technical documents such as functional, design, and test specifications for various automation components like recipes, phase sequences, equipment modules, control modules, customized logic, and HMI graphics in compliance with customer User Requirement Specifications (URS).

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and test recipes, phases, equipment modules, control logic, and interlock schemes following design and test specifications.
• Provide leadership for engineering teams, overseeing project resources, scheduling tasks, managing client relations, and coordinating with vendors and remote engineering teams.
• Implement batch process upgrades on the DeltaV platform, specifically serving pharmaceutical industry clients.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree-qualified in automation engineering with over six years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Expertise in S88 standards and DeltaV batch processing systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of all project lifecycle stages and associated activities.
• Proven project management capabilities with experience leading complete projects.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently.
