Delivery Executive

About the Role

Join Pronto as a Delivery Executive based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In this full-time, shift-based position, you will be entrusted with collecting, transporting, and delivering household items, quick-fulfillment orders, and parcels to both residential and commercial clients. Utilizing the Pronto Partner app and GPS navigation, you will ensure timely, safe, and accurate deliveries while operating from a designated local hub.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick up packages from assigned local hubs and ensure their prompt and secure delivery to customer locations within scheduled timeframes.
• Leverage app-based navigation and GPS tools to identify optimal routes and avoid traffic, maintaining high delivery speeds.
• Carefully inspect, organize, and load packages into delivery bags or vehicles to prevent any damage during transit.
• Engage politely with customers during delivery, handle digital or cash payments when required, and obtain electronic proof of delivery.
• Maintain daily logs of deliveries via the app, report any damaged or missing items, and keep the delivery vehicle clean and properly maintained.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of 10th or 12th grade is preferred.
• Between zero to two years’ experience in courier, food, or e-commerce delivery roles.
• Possess a valid driving license for a two-wheeler (bike, scooter, or electric vehicle).
• Own or have access to a 2-wheeler vehicle.
• Use of an Android smartphone with active internet connectivity to manage orders via the Pronto Partner App.
• Possession of valid Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, active bank account, and vehicle registration and insurance documents.

Skills Required

• Well-acquainted with local delivery routes.
• Basic proficiency in time management.
• Good communication abilities for customer interaction.
• Physical endurance suitable for field work.
